Men's Retreat

Mid-October found several men from Our Savior's Way in the Shenandoah Valley participating in the annual Lutheran Men's Retreat - Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Springfield and St. Paul's in Falls Church were also represented. This year's focus topic was Personal Evangilism and there were four presentations ranging from the Biblical perspective to modern outreach programs and methods. Along with the seminars, there was time for hiking on the nearby Appalachain Trail (no bears sighted) and visits to nearby Civil War Battlefields. And, not to be forgotten - good food, fellowship and comradarie.

The Men's retreat is an annual event held in October each year outside Harrisonburg, Virginia at a church conference center. Next year's event is already being planned and will be held October 12-14. Contact Corrado Dugo if you are interested in participating or would like to learn more.
