Captive Free to perform at Our Savior's Way Lutheran Church on April 12 & 13

ASHBURN, VA - March 24:   Captive Free, the music ministry team that presents an interactive program about the gospel of Jesus Christ using music, personal testimony, puppet shows and drama, will be performing at Our Savior's Way Lutheran Church in Ashburn on April 12 & 13.  The family friendly night of praise and worship for all ages will be on Friday, April 12 from 7pm to 8:30pm.  The team will also perform at the 9:30am and 11am services on Sunday, April 13.  All performances are free.  The church is located at 43115 Waxpool Road in Ashburn.

Incorporated in 1965 as a non-profit religious organization, Youth Encounter is an evangelical and confessional Christian organization that began by sending a music ministry team to Scandinavia. Rooted in the Christian Scriptures and shaped by the Lutheran tradition, Youth Encounter has now grown into a global ministry serving churches of many denominations in the United States and over 40 other countries.  Captive Free, a national team sponsered by Youth Encounter, will have many opportunities to listen, learn and share while visiting homes, schools, churches, nursing homes and youth conferences. 

Our Savior’s Way, along with the Open Arms Christian Child Development Center, has provided a caring atmosphere for the children of families in the Ashburn area for almost 10 years.  Open Arms is open to children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and offers preschool, day care, before/after school care, and summer camp.  They are located at the intersection of Waxpool Road and Claiborne Parkway (1 mile south of Exit 5 of the Greenway) and are currently expanding their facility to provide room for additional preschool, child care and community services.
