Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a nurturing and safe environment for the development of children and families in the community through a loving, Christ-centered, Bible-based childcare, preschool, private kindergarten, and after-school program.
About Us
Open Arms Christian Academy was founded on September 7, 1999, and has proudly served the Ashburn, VA community for more than 25 years, providing high-quality, Christ-centered education and care. Affiliated with Our Savior’s Way Lutheran Church, Open Arms is nationally accredited through National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) and the Virginia Council for Private Education (VCPE) and participates in the Virginia Quality Birth to Five System (VQB5), supporting continuous quality improvement in early childhood education.
On September 7, 2024, Open Arms celebrated its 25th year legacy of nurturing children in a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment.

Church Service Times
Our Savior’s Way Lutheran Church holds services every Sunday at the following times:
- 8:00 am – Traditional Worship Service
- 9:30 am – Alternating Traditional and Modern Worship Service
- 11:00 am – Modern Worship Service
Professional Nursery Care (Infants-3 years) is available every Sunday during each service.

Sunday School and Bible Studies
(Offered during the school year)
Sundays at 9:30 am during the 9:30 am service
Sunday School is offered for kids aged 4 to 4th grade. A middle-school-age group also meets; high schoolers are invited to attend adult Bible study. Adult Bible Study groups also meet at 9:30 am.
